WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY STAY?

Multi-Park Ticket are included per night stayed / per guest for use anytime in the 2025 season.  You will have access to Savannah Sunset private viewing areas, business center, outdoor games, private safari tour and a giraffe feeding exclusive to Savannah Sunset Resort guests. Nightly marshmallows roasting and entertainment (Friday and Saturday evenings). Made to order Breakfast is also included each morning in the lodge.

DO YOU OBSERVE QUIET HOURS?

For the enjoyment of our guests, quiet hours begin at 10 PM nightly. Disruptive guests will receive two warnings from staff before being escorted off property without a refund.

WHAT IS YOUR SMOKING POLICY?

Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated smoking areas only. Smoking or vaping inside the suites or in any of our communal areas on site is not permitted. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to rooms if these policies are not followed.

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT PROCESS?

Check-in is at 4 PM on the arrival date and check-out is at 11 AM on the departure date. On the day of arrival, our Guest Services team will text the lead guest to confirm an arrival time. The parking area for Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa is adjacent to the main parking lot. Once parked, please leave luggage in the car and check-in at the arrivals area. Guests are required to sign a waiver upon check-in and provide a credit card to pay resort fees and have on file for incidental charges.  After check-in, a driver will transport guests and luggage to the resort while providing a brief tour of the grounds. At time of check-out, please call the Concierge to schedule driver to take you back to your vehicle. Please note the following. The guest services team will be available via text throughout your stay. You can ask for a driver to take you back to your vehicle at any point. Savannah Sunset does not hold personal belongings outside of check-in and check-out times.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

A 50% deposit is due upon booking with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your stay. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation and check-in at Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa. No children under 5 are allowed on property. All major credit cards accepted; Six Flags is a cashless resort. No cash is accepted on property.

WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION POLICIES?

A deposit of 50% of the final total is due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date and will be automatically charged to the original credit card. Cancellations received 30 or more days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the arrival date are fully nonrefundable. Early departures and no shows are chargeable at their full rate. If you need to re-book your reservation, you are welcome to do so. However, you will only be able to re-book one time. In addition, if you re-book, your reservation will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Cold and inclement weather conditions do not warrant cancellations or refunds unless Savannah Sunset deems the conditions as unsafe. Guests acknowledge that Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa reserves the right to cancel their stay at any time, including once they are checked in, due to inclement weather or any other dangerous conditions.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Each suite of the Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa includes all the amenities required for a relaxing and pampered stay. Breakfast is included in your stay as well as a mini fridge so you can keep snacks and drinks nearby. All of our tents are outfitted with electricity, plumbing, air conditioning and heating. Each suite has a private en-suite restroom including a shower, vanity, toilet and sink. Comfortable tennis shoes or hiking shoes are recommended to explore and indulge in the safari ambience. Be sure to dress for the weather and be comfortable. Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted on site.

Parking

Parking will be located to the right after the main gates, in a covered area. You will follow signs in the inner right lane marked for speedy parking. Stay all the way to right. Once you get to Gate 12, you will make the first right and follow signs for Glamping Check In. Please keep your luggage inside the car until the driver has checked you in. After check in, your driver will transfer your luggage into your private vehicle that will take you to the resort.  Please make sure you keep your vehicles locked and take all personal belongings.  You will not have your vehicle with you at the resort. You can be driven back to your vehicle at anytime via our drivers. Drivers are on shift 24/7.

SAFARI CODE OF CONDUCT

NJ is a no touch state when it comes to exotic animals. Certain animals will be off limits for interactions. The staff will guide you as to which one you are able to interact with. There will be no mistreating of animals including but not limited to, spitting/throwing objects, hitting, grabbing and squeezing. There is a zero tolerance for these actions and will result in immediate escort off property. No refund will be given and you will be banned from future visits to the Six Flags Resort. Wild Safari animals are protected under The Division of Fish & Wildlife. Age Requirements. All Savannah Sunset guest must be ages 5 and up. No exceptions will be made for this rule. You must be 21 to Check In with valid ID. All guest under 21 must be accompanied by an adult over age of 21 at all times.

House Rules

This is a family-friendly resort; please refrain from cruel; and vulgar language. Please be mindful of noise levels during quiet hours.

NOT Pet Friendly

Savannah Sunset is not a pet friendly resort. No pets are allowed on property. Please refer to the FAQ’s on our Six Flags Great Adventure website for local boarding options.

Common Questions

 Can I use my 2 Day-Park Hopper on the day of check in or check out?
Yes, you decide when you would like to use the tickets, you will get 1 ticket per person, per night stayed. 
Season Passholders will receive a "Be Our Guest" pass in lieu of park tickets. This is a skip the line pass for the rides.
Is there an oven in the rooms to make food?
Rooms will have a mini refrigerator and microwave. Outside food/drink is not permitted. You will be able to purchase food from our restaurant and mini shop at Resort Services.
Can I bring additional blankets or air mattresses?
Blankets are provided on each bed but additional blankets are permitted. Air Mattresses are not permitted due to the size and the capacity of the suite. .
I am celebrating a special event; can you provide anything additional for my stay?

Will utensils be provided?
Biodegradable utensils and cups are available at the resort. Due to the nature of the location and experience, we do not have any glassware.
Can I bring my own coffee?
Coffee is supplied in each suite and there will be a Starbucks in the main lodge for your convenience. If you need any additional coffee for your room, please call or stop by Resort Services.
Is there a laundry services provided for personal use?
At this time, we do NOT provide any laundry services.
Why is the age limit 5+?
Due to the location and nature of the experience, this resort caters to guests ages 5 and up.
What food is served?
Indulge in culinary experiences ranging from an elegant, made to order breakfast, to exemplary service and delicious cuisine in our exclusive restaurant. Room service will deliver spectacular late night bites to your door. Breakfast will be made to order with items like Spinach egg white omelet, Brioche French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast and Bagel with Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon. 
Can I bring my own food/beverage?
No outdoor food is permitted. Snacks are available for purchase at Resort Services along with a late-night menu option in the main lodge. If you require specific food accommodations, please communicate to our Guest Services team after booking.
What happens in bad weather?
Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa is open rain or shine. The accommodations are weatherproof. Refunds are not offered for inclement weather.
What if I need to leave in the middle of the night?
Drivers are on site 24/7 to escort you to your vehicle.
What animals will I see from my room?
Various species of African hoofstock including giraffes and antelope have free roam on the savannah surrounding the resort throughout the day. You may also spot our bears and hear our lions roaring nearby. 
Do the animals come up to the suites?
Our African animals will not be able to access the suites directly. Guests will get to experience an up-close encounter with our giraffes during their giraffe feed.
If I purchase a 2-night stay but leave after 1 night, do I get a refund?
There is a 2-night minimum for each stay. Should you leave after one night, no refund will be given. 
Off peak- you will be able to stay 1 night.
